• Hi, drmiagi. Your device should work fine with behind the Linksys WHW0101P as it is a dual-band extender. However, please take note that the unit will work so long as it is connected to an existing Linksys Velop network with a primary node.

• The extender does do both frequencies of 2.4 and 5 ghz. So it will work. I have no issues with any of my devices connecting and super fast WiFi too.
