A:AnswerHi Mobjr163, most mice and keyboards will work on consoles. But to be sure, please check with the game developer of the game you're trying to play to see if they support computer accessory as another input. -N from Logitech
A:AnswerJohn,
Purchased the MK530 set couple days ago, it came from the factory with a unifying receiver. -- That said, you should download the Logitech Unifying software here... http://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/unifying -- very compact & easy to use. -- The advanced feature allows to you to "pair" a new device quick 'n' easy. Once the devices have been paired to a receiver, they should work flawlessly.
I've been running a K360 keyboard (purchased from BB Aug 2017) with M310 mouse off a single Unifying receiver for bout the past 6-months with no hiccups. Jurassic Dell laptop running XP Pro.
BTW: Logitech kybd's & mice that support the Unifying technology have a orange / black star on the bottom of them -- it's on top of the receivers (see attached pix).
A:AnswerYes. I have used it on Windows 7 and Windows 10 and it is as easy and plugging the USB transmitter and turning them on. No need for install discs or downloading drivers.
A:AnswerI'd say yes, the mouse is quiet. It does make a soft click when you use it. The keyboard is slightly louder when typing quickly, but definitely not as loud as some.
A:AnswerBy 'compatible' I would say yes. The additional function buttons (like one button for email, or one button to open Safari) I do not know if those will work. For typing it would work great.
A:AnswerNo, it's a membrane keyboard with scissor switches. It has a fairly high actuation force though for a membrane, if that's something you're looking for.
