- Answer Hello Eddie, there is a 4-hour delay. You would need to hold the sani rinse button for 3 seconds.

QuestionWe just got model MDB4949SKZ0. I have a question on the delay func. of the Sani Rinse 4 Hr Delay hold 3 sec function . When I press it and hold it for 3 seconds it beeps and shows -:-- do I push another button also? The directions are mute on this.

- Answer Hello Eddie, if you hold the Sanitize button for 3 seconds it will lock the controls. If you want to delay the Sani Rinse cylce, just press the Sani Rinse cycle once, then press the delay option, press start/resume, then close the door. We hope this helps.

QuestionI just bought this dishwasher, but even when I put it on heat dry, the spoons are all wet and the dishes too Even after the dishwasher was used last night and I opened it this morning Am very disappointed. Not sure if someone else had this problem too

- Answer I would double-check the "rinse aid" compartment to make sure it's not low or empty. We are used to a little bit of water on some dishes, but it's usually a very small amount.

QuestionHow does the delay start work? I don't see a button for it.

- Answer I couldn't understand why it would note in the specifications that it had a delay, if it didn't. In better light, I was able to read the fine print under the Sani Rinse button that says 4 hour delay, hold the button for 3 seconds. It worked! So this model does have a delay start! Just a little confusing that it doesn't have a separate button like my previous dishwashers.
