- Answer There is a Rinse&Spin cycle. The manual says if you want to Drain and Spin only, then select Rinse&Spin and turn off the Extra Rinse option.

- Answer Never had any problems with the smell, but doesn't really get them to clean, not only that, but it leaves white residue, all over your dark clothes, mu wife has to wash items twice, NOT GOOD. I would stay away from this machine if I where you...

QuestionWe bought the above Maytag washer today because of the Deep Water Cycle. I asked your salesman if the water fills way above the clothes and he said yes. I want to verify this because I don't want it if it doesn't.

- Answer The Deep Water Fill does NOT fill the machine with any extra water on the wash cycle (only the rinse cycles). I saw other models that said Deep Water "Wash" instead of Deep Water "Fill", but I don't know if it's true or not.

- Answer Yes but you can access it by pushing the pause button which unlocks it so you can add more items, then you close the lid push the pause button again and it will re-lock and sense the adjustment and resume washing.

- Answer You can pick a cycle that takes about 54 minutes. The spin cycle takes a lot of water out, so on the other end, drying takes less time

- Answer My machine is in a laundry room between my kitchen and family room and the noise of the machine varies but it isn't loud enough to bother tv vieiwing, conversations or anything else. Its far more quieter than my previous machine that was about 5 years old. Most of the time we don't even notice its running. Sometimes when we go to switch loads because we thought it was done we discovered it wasn't because it was still running so quiet.

- Answer I was very lucky and since my brand new expensive top of the line Maytag washer immediately began having BIG issues and needed repairing the very first week of owning, I was able to get the store to pick it up and I paid a little more and got the Speed Queen with digital controls. I know this doesn't answer your question but I found there are so many horror stories about what a useless piece of junk this Maytag washer truly is that I don't understand why Maytag has not recalled it! Plus when I went to get the clothes I had washed on very first use of this brand new washing machine and it would not spin the water out leaving them soaking wet and heavy, to get all of them out I had to resort to using a pair of long barbeque tongs in order to reach the bottom. Things like this are just a ridiculous way to design an appliance. Plus when the company picked up the horrible Maytag to replace with my wonderful but ugly Speed Queen washer, there was a huge amount of black powder looking stuff under washer so who knows what that was all about. It is the worst and most expensive washing machine ever made and if I were you I'd try to sell it or somehow rid yourself of it because there are going to be nothing but problems ahead I fear. QuestionDoes anyone have the height dimension with the lid open?

- Answer With the lid open it is 57" high. It is 43-1/2" to the top of the machine with the lid closed. My aunt has an older model and cannot open the door to her wall cabinet above the washer to get her detergent. I just have open shelves so it is fine.

QuestionIs it OK to use powder oxi cleen in the slot that says oxi and use a tide pod. Also, I”be been using non HE tide pods since we got our washer a week ago. Why is this an issue. Thank you

- Answer Hello Papalady, no you would put anything powdered into the basket itself with the pod. As far as the detergent, HE High Efficiency detergent is specially formulated to work with low-water wash systems. Your washer uses less water than traditional machines. With less water, the wash action can create too much sudsing when regular detergent is used. With HE detergent, there will be significantly fewer suds produced. HE detergent provides the right amount of suds for the best performance in high-efficiency washers.

- Answer Hi Petra, this model of the 5.3 Cu. Ft. 11-Cycle Top-Loading Washer has two different options, one that does come with a Steam feature and one that does not. In order to pick the one with Steam feature, please reach out to BestBuy in order to make sure the one you're looking for has that option. The Sanitize with Oxi & Steam or Sanitize with Oxi (depending on model) eliminates 99.9% of bacteria when used in conjunction with the Oxi option. Preset cycle settings must be used to achieve the proper sanitization. Be sure to add an Oxi product to the Oxi dispenser.

- Answer No, the washer senses the size of the lid for you. You can set in on bedding or heavy duty which increases the wash time.
