Q: QuestionWill this connect to phonak P90-R hearing aids? They are bluetooth ready but maybe with proprietary phonak brand only

• A:Answer It appears that this hearing aid model does support A2DP, which is the Bluetooth audio profile used by all Bluetooth stereo transmitters including this device. You would just have to consult the user manual or contact Phonak to ask for the specific procedure for pairing the P90-R with a screen-less Bluetooth device. Only hearing aids that have a manual Bluetooth pairing mode (like a headphone has) will be able to be connected.

• A:Answer In reciever mode, this device can output a line level stereo analog audio signal which can supply the input of any amplifier, such as the aux in of a self powered/active speaker. It cannot power passive speakers such as those which would typically be connected with +/- speaker cable to the binding posts of an amplifier.

• A:Answer The above answer is incorrect. This transmitter will transmit to any two Bluetooth devices at the same time 2 sets of headphones, two speakers or one of each. It is best if you have a volume control on your device otherwise the 3 levels on the MEE are the best you can do.
