A:Answer Haven't hooked the unit up yet, but I did a quick check in the manual:
Per the manual, on page 5, referring to Digital Optical Audio Out:
"The volume of optical output is typically fixed and TV speakers can be controlled independently as necessary."
and on page 11, referring to Adjusting the Volume:
"Volume can be individually adjusted on each set of headphones paired with the Connect using the built-in volume controls on the headphone."
