• A:Answer I myself just went through this. The warranty will cover the cost of a refurbished replacement controller, no matter what you paid or the current cost. At that time, they did offer me the opportunity to purchase a "new" controller, but that would of cost me the differnece between the two items. Still not a bad deal overall.

• A:Answer I bought 2 of them and one came looking really nice and clean and the other looked awful. It had crud all over it. It took me a bit to clean it up, which I did before I tried it out, but then I had to return it because it had a number of issues.
