QuestionWhat is the actual model on this? I bought one of these tonight as a gift and haven't opened it. The box says "Model 1796" on the back. Searching on that model number reveals this to be a low end 5th Gen, not 6th. Which is it Best Buy?

- Answer They have changed the description to the correct verbiage. It now just says Surface Pro instead of Surface Pro 6. This is actually a 5th Gen Surface Pro.

QuestionWould this version of the Surface Pro perform better than the Suface Go 8mb 128GB SSD model?

- Answer Yes it will I have owned both and the surface go is soooo much slower, videos render and perform horribly from youtube and Netflix IMO. The other problem with Go is it comes with windows M version which will not let you download any apps not in the windows store for example you can't even download the chrome browser.

QuestionIs this a 5th generation Surface Pro? Microsoft does not offer 6th generation Surface Pro with 4gb RAM and a m3 processor. This looks to be a 5th generation or the interior of a Surface Go. Perhaps Best Buy can answer this question for us??

- Answer It's Pro 6 but it is a special SKU for black Friday/best buy much like the Costco iteration of the surface go to entice shoppers into getting a "deal"

- Answer there's Surface "touch cover", really thin, and priced low, but keys like a gas station pump. Included in the BB bundle, the expensive "Platinum Type cover" with moving island keys and four backlight "Off->Low->Med->Bright" settings.

- Answer Yes it can connect to a wireless printer just as any other computer can. I bought it for college age daughter and she prints at home and school no problem. It is a great durable device which I highly recommend

- Answer Yes it would against the 4GB ram model. The 8GB ram Go model would be able to run more browser tabs without lagging but not necessarily run games better.

- Answer You should be able to just use an adapter plug. The power brick says input voltage is 100-240V.
