“Can I load older (Windows XP compatible) applications from a USB CD-rom drive? My business PC runs Windows XP and I have CD installation discs for all my applications. Can I install them from USB CD-ROM drive? Will they run under Windows 8.1? TIA”

if they run on windows 8 or 8.1 on any other system they should work fine on a surface pro 3 tablet
