Is the intel core m3 lot slower than intelcore i3? null

It is a little bit slower if you go by the specifications, but it is pretty good for day to day work like excel, youtube, netflix, etc, you wont even feel any difference. Not good for heavy duty work like video editing or development though. On the plus side, It is very silent device since it has M processor and requires no cooling fan.

I bought the m3. It runs great. It is designed to give good speed while not killing the battery. If you want speed, go for the i5. If you want better battery life, go for the m3. There are always trade offs.
