  • QuestionCan I use this to upgrade my window 10

    Asked by Pat.

    • Answer It is just the activation key for Windows 11 Home. If your Windows 10 system meets Microsoft's hardware requirements, and installs Windows 11 Home, this key will activate it. There are ways to bypass Microsoft's hardware requirements. Those techniques can be found in video online.

  • Questionhow do you activate it?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer If your system has an OEM key in the firmware, and you install the same level (Home, Pro, etc.), Windows 11 will self-activate with the Windows 10 OEM key from firmware. If there is no OEM key in firmware, and Windows 11 Home has been successfully installed, the activation screen in Settings will indicate Windows 11 Home is inactive. In this case, this purchased key will fully activate Windows 11 Home. It is entered in the Change Product Key option on the Activation screen in Settings.

  • Questionis this a disk drive install

  • QuestionI have an unactivated windows 10 home on my PC, will this key let me activate it and upgrade to windows 11 home?

    Asked by Anon.

    • Answer Yes. Upon successfully installing Windows 11 Home, on the Windows 10 PC, and passing, or bypassing, Microsoft's hardware requirements, this purchased key will fully activate Windows 11 Home, as long as you haven't already activated another PC with the same product key. Upgrading to 11 has the option to upgrade "in place", keeping your files and applications intact. Or, you can do a clean install, erasing everything and installing Windows 11 Home, and starting fresh. Either way, this key will fully activate Windows 11 Home on the PC.

  • QuestionI STILL HAVE WINDOWS 10, CAN I STILL LOAD WINDOWS 11 & WHAT VERSION DO I NEED?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer To be able to use the current Windows 10 product key on that PC, you must upgrade to the same version (Home, or Pro, for example) of Windows 11 as the Windows 10 version currently on that PC. If you wish to change versions during the upgrade, you would need to purchase the appropriate version's key in order to activate the new Windows. So if you go from Home to Pro, or from Pro to Home, this is when you need to purchase a product key. Going from 10 Home to 11 Home can re-use the existing Windows 10 key. The same is true for Pro.

  • QuestionIs S mode automatically activated when Windows 11 is installed?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Windows 11 S mode is not automatically activated when you install a standard retail copy of the operating system yourself. S mode is a specific configuration of Windows that is usually pre-installed and activated by the device manufacturer (OEM) on brand-new computers, typically those marketed as educational laptops, budget-friendly models, or highly secure devices. The manufacturer decides whether the device ships in S mode. If you purchase a device that comes with "Windows 11 Home in S mode" pre-loaded, then S mode is already active from the moment you first turn on the computer. If you build your own PC or install Windows 11 on an existing machine using an installation media tool, it will install the full version of Windows 11 Home or Pro, and S mode will not be an option or active by default.
