QuestionHello is there a hardwood floor tool available for this vacuum?

- Answer Thank you for your interest in our new Triflex Cordless Stick Vacuum. There is no extra hardwood floor tool available for the Triflex since it's not required. Included in the box is an extra-wide Electrobrush which cleans a larger surface area in less time without compromising on performance. It adapts automatically to every type of flooring, including hardwood, ensuring all surfaces are cleaned quickly and thoroughly. Miele does offer a number of other optional accessories for the Triflex.

QuestionDoes it come with a charger that can be wall mounted? In other words, when it is not in use does it hang on the wall and charge at the same time?

- Answer The mount is more to make it look nicer. The cord feeds through the mount to the vacuum so you could just disregard the mount all together and just connect the charger from wall to vacuum if need to.

QuestionCan this be use on a area rug?

- Answer I would say yes depending on the thickness. Should be fine, I vacuumed a towel I had laying down as a makeshift rug and it did just fine. Worst case just remove the brush head and use another attachment.

QuestionWill Best Buy be selling the Triflex cat & dog model when it releases in the US in September ?

- Answer They only have the base model which does an excellent job with cats and dogs and is the exact same vacuum as the top of the line model. You just get an added battery and a cradle for that battery for the top of the line vac. I have 2 dogs and this works excellently. If they sell then I am certain BB will stock more models. You can get the exact same price off the Miele website btw too.

QuestionI have seen this item in a few places, when will this be available? The 3 configurations for this unit look to be super beneficial. Ditching my Dyson. I have had it with that unit..Need something new.

QuestionDoes this automatically start to charge when it is inserted into its mount, or do you have to manually plug a cord into it each time to charge?

- Answer The plug/cord goes into the wall mount. When you place the vacuum on the mount, the charging cord plugs right in by itself. Make sense?

QuestionI cannot drill holes in the wall so I cannot use the wall mount for recharging. Can this be recharged without the wall mount (i.e., battery charger plugged in directly into outlet) and if so how?

- Answer Yes, it can. Just lean the vaccum up against the wall and then charging cord plug in right below battery And other end into the wall. The only thing the mount does is make it look nice and more uniform. You can charge it anyways laying down, etc. I don't have mine on mount and just standing up leaning against the wall. Hope this helps.
