A:AnswerMy daughter is in the Atlanta area, they get almost 100 channels, we are in a less populated area with the closest tv station being about 20 miles away and we get about 30 channels. It is a good product and works well
A:AnswerThere are plenty of websites that can tell you what channels should be available to you in your area.
One is https://antennaweb.org/ which lets you search by ZIP code.
One of the main issues you can't predict is how your TV and antenna will pick up various channels. It depends on your altitude, building height, density of buildings, etc.
It can also depend on your TV. I installed this antenna for my father-in-law at his 3rd floor apartment. On his bedroom TV, which is an older flat-screen, it didn't detect any channels. Then I tried the same antenna on his living room TV, which is not quite as old. It picked up about 15 channels.
What you have to do is buy and antenna, try it and see how many channels you get. If you don't get enough to justify the cost of the antenna, return it.
A:AnswerUnfortunately I am not able to do that using this site. You can visit Mohu's FAQ section on their site to access all of the product manuals which will show set up.
A:AnswerI used an online estimator tool of how many channels I'd get with a basic antenna, and it was 4. This one gets us about 10. We live about 45 miles from all major broadcast cities.
A:AnswerI suggest you google "what channels can I get" and look for a site tool that will allow you to enter in your complete address. That will allow you to see what stations are within range of the antenna.
A:AnswerWe have it located in a lower level window facing the city about 30 miles away. We pick up I'd say about 80 percent of the over the air stations. However, the NBC affiliate does not come thru, all other major networks do.
A:AnswerThis antennae does not necessarily need to be by a window. I moved mine away from the window next to a wall and got more channels. Sounds crazy, but it's true.
