“How is the signal supposedly "Amplified" when there is no external power source? Without an external source of energy you'll get nothing more than the signal received.”

• There is an inline amplifier included that plugs into a wall outlet for power.

• This antenna does come with a power source. There is a power injector included which is used to power the amplifier that is built into the head of the antenna.
