- Answer The phone's components are coated with a nano-coating that reduces the likelyhood of them shorting out. So, it is splash-proof. NOT, water-proof. It can take some raindrops, but don't go swimming with it!

- Answer Hi pradipcb, That's odd. Let's try to troubleshoot the device. Can you check if the same thing happens while in safe mode? QuestionI have a 2+ year old Motorola Droid Maxx on Verizon. If I purchase a Moto G Plus 5th generation unlocked from Best Buy can Best Buy transfer the sim card to the new phone and move the apps from the old to the new phone? Thanks, David (85719)

- Answer No, they cannot. Verizon is CDMA and each sim card is fixed on a specific phone. You will need a new sim. Actually, I just did that with my Droid Maxx which started life on Verizon.But I ended the contract as soon as I could and went to Straighttalk with their CDMA chip. Then when I upgraded to the Moto G5, I stayed there with a new sim chip from them.

- Answer I live in Joplin, Mo and I have Pure Talk USA (no contract, no fees). I have had Pure Talk for 3 years and 3 different phones, all unlocked. I bought 2 on eBay and my new Motorola at Best Buy. They all worked great. I have traveled to several midwest and eastern states and my phone has always worked great. I know someone in a small town in Kansas that had problems with T-Mobile. I could be your carrier.
