Yes, and it is easily fixed by disabling Enhanced LTE in the network settings.

Would this phone be an upgrade from the 2015 x pure edition? I have the x pure and am thinking of buying this phone but only if it's better than what I currently have.   (5 Answers)

      Answer

Battery life is likely a bit better than the Moto X Pure, and the new Moto G5+ has an octa core processor. Is it an upgrade? Debatable. The G5+ is going to get OS updates longer than the Moto X from 2015, for sure. Not sure if that alone is worth it, but I think if you look at the whole package, buying is the right thing to do, unless you can wait for the next Moto X.

Does this phone work with the Verizon cloud app when activated with Verizon? I have heard that non-Verizon direct, unlocked phones do not allow you to run Verizon-specific apps.   (4 Answers)

      Answer

It should work. My wife has this phone and she is not the primary account holder. I did try the Cloud app and My Verizon app and they both work up to the point of logging in.

Does the Best Buy version of this Motorola phone make you endure offers like the Amazon version at the same price point? Thanks.   (5 Answers)

      Answer

The one at Best Buy is as if you were buying it straight from Motorola. No Amazon offers to deal with. The only way you get the annoying Amazon Offers is if you buy that version on Amazon at their discounted price.

What happens if you lose your phone, however got stolen and do not now where it is at? Can the phones be covered for lost or stolen items? What extra does that come in? I don't see where that is available.   (3 Answers)

      Answer

You should install Android Device Manager on all of your Android devices. This will allow you to track the location of your device, have it sound an alarm (in case you lose it in the couch), lock it and even remotely wipe it. There is no coverage for lost or stolen phones.

          Answer

My phone says: 19.75 GB total used of 64.00 GB; Android OS 10.29 GB; Internal shared storage 9.46 GB used of 53.71 GB I'm not sure how much of my Android allocation might change based on my setup and apps. So I assume the answer to your question would be around 54 GB is available for you to use.

          Answer

I have bought mine one at Best Buy and yes, it's completely unlock. But pay attention to 4G/LTE bands. My previous Moto G 4th generation was bought in Brazil and does not support 4G/LTE used in USA. I strongly suggest you to check whether a 5th generation bought in USA would work fine in Argentina.
