QuestionI would like to know how to get my Samsung tv to recognize this phone when I try to screen mirror it. I have tried the chrome cast as well and it jus t does not recognize the phone. It does charge while plugged in to tv.

- Answer I'm not sure how to get your Samsung TV to recognize your phone. But I have a chromecast and I'm able to screen mirror from my phone easily. Try downloading the Google home app and setting up your Chromecast through it. You might have to do a factory reset on your Chromecast. there should be a little button on your Chromecast that you hold down to reset. Also make sure your Chromecast and your phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

- Answer Two years ago (2020) it came with Android 10 and has since upgraded to Android 11. I believe it has limited upgrades, but that remains to be seen until 12 is available.

QuestionA good friend gave me the used Moto G Power (got a new one for himself). How do I erase apps and older info on phone and start fresh with my own preferences in apps etc I am a senior citizen not tech smart need simple instructs. Thanks,

- Answer Hi Missm, Open Settings, go the bottom and second from bottom you should see 'System'. Click on 'System', then 'Advanced' and you should see 'Reset options'. For what you are asking, you should choose 'Erase all data (factory reset)'. It should show a confirmation screen where you can click on the blue 'Erase' button to begin the process.

- Answer This does not work on Boost Mobile. I had to switch carriers after I couldn't get a compatible sim card for the services. Switched to T-Mobile prepaid and works better than boost ever did!

- Answer I would not say that it works well with voice commands. It does work with voice commands and also you can voice text messages. When you text a written text message you need to look at it before you send it because some of the words are not what you say. It does have a mic where you can send a voice message and that works well!

- Answer When I bought my phone there was a good discount for activating it in the store. I wanted to use my same number and they could not do that in store so I activated it myself. I was already a Verizon customer and stayed with them so I did not have any activation fee. I think the SIM card was about $10.
