Can i use the phone for other companies? null

You can NOT use this phone with Virgin Mobile or Total Wireless (Wal-Mart prepaid wireless). I have confirmed that I am able to use this with Verizon, Net10 or Straight Talk pre-paid wireless, although I have not purchased my SIM card activation packet yet.

I use T-mobile with this phone with no problem. I only had to plug in the SIM card.

I use it with Straight Talk, which apparently uses several networks. Mine is tied to Verizon towers, but I know some that are Sprint. Hope that helps.

Yes, you can use this on most GSM friendly carriers. We are using it with AT&T with no issue (and no contract).
