• 240Hz is far superior for gaming when compared to 144Hz, to get the most out of the refresh rate you want a good pair of CPU and GPU. Casual gaming on this screen will make any game look smoother, and for competitive gaming this will give you a competitive edge. For school work, unless you are doing any sort of video editing or software/game development for school work, then this computer is more than fine.
