Bean Chili is a pressure cooker mode. I'm not sure about the other buttons as the instruction manual doesn't define any of the button functions. Very, very few pressure cookers get up to 15psi. This one probably gets between 9 and 12psi, but we'll never know because the instruction manual doesn't state this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most of these 6 qt. pressure cookers that are 1000W have a higher pressure around 10 PSI. If they have cycles that use low pressure (the IP Duo models), the low pressure is about 6-7 PSI. The "emergency" steam release is usually designed to trip around 16.5 to17 PSI. So, no, you can't get these to 15 PSI and can in them. This type of pressure cooker isn't approved for canning foods safely, even if the manufacturers claim so. You could cook foods in it to either can by some other method or freeze, though.
