Q: QuestionCan I install two or three Next x Yale locks on one home? If so do I need a Nest Connect with each lock?

• A:Answer I have three locks installed with two Nest Connects. The nest connects are more spaced out like a mesh network so it is not a one connect to one lock. You could potentially use one connect for all of them depending on the size and number of walls in the way. Each lock comes with a connect though so not something extra to buy.

• A:Answer Yes, as long as they have a unique code they are using. Look in the “history” section of the nest app

Q: QuestionThe history section on the Yale lock displays 10 days of history. Is there a way to go farther back. Can you access the entry/exit dates and times for uses farther back than 10 days?

Q: QuestionIs there any low battery alert?

• A:Answer Yes, according to the manual. I’ve only had mine less than a month, so my battery hasn’t run out yet, and won’t for a while, but it is supposed to let you know that the battery is low. Also, you can stash a 9-volt battery somewhere and use it in an emergency if the lock runs out of juice.
