QuestionI have a problem with getting the right speed for Netflix streaming....I need 5MbPs for HD ....getting around 2...the router is in my office area which is about 25 ft from my LG TV...will this extender increase the speed significantly? Thanks

- Answer Should work fine. Any system that sends out a Wi-Fi signal should allow the Netgear to connect either via WPS or more easily, using a browser.

- Answer Call Netgear and they will help you setup your extender without a charge. I think you are covered for 90 days. They will show you how to upgrade your firmware.

QuestionWhere is the serial number on the ACC1200?

- Answer It should be located on a sticker on the unit. Said sticker should also have the password and the MAC address on there. Just make certain to look for "Serial No.", "SN" or some such identifying nomenclature. Hope this helps! Thx!

- Answer Yes, with the two antennas, this extender has great pulling power and you should receive a nice, strong, and steady connection. My situation is the reverse - my modem/router is in the basement and devices in the far opposite corner couldn't get a good connection, but with the AC1200, it's very good.

- Answer No, you still need a modem/router that the AC1200 will connect to and amplify the signal to other hard-to-reach areas.

- Answer Only if you have a weak router. If your on a internet plan/service that doesn't have at decent (19-25 or more)Mbs of data rate then it's probably your service. My wifi router without the signal booster only reached my living room an kitchen @ 21 Mbs with it reaches my garage an rooms @ 27Mbs. I have the "cheaper" internet At&t provids to my area. Run a speed test on Google on your computer or phone.

- Answer This picks up wireless signal. As long as the wireless signal can be picked up where you place the extender, it should be fine.
