Please try again later.You are going to need at least pick up the N600 modem (802.311n technology) to plug into your modem to work with the 802.311ac adapter (the adapter has the new 802.311ac standard, however it backwards compatible with the N600's 802.311n standard). If you want to experience 3x faster speeds, then you will have to move to N750 series that has the 802.311ac technology. You will have to have a modem supporting it all from your ISP (like Comcast). This willmean moving up in tier if you are not already there, btw you may be there but know it, so ask your provider and you get the dossis 3.0 modem for free.
