“Existing Router have this already, will the adapter work with it? Netgear Wireless N-2230. I need to move my PC about 40 feet away from the router and It is hard wired into it right now. I cannot move the router.”

• I tried to look up your router and the only thing from Netgear with a similar model number was an NAS, and that isn't a router.
