Q: QuestionI do not have Netgear internet. I have Fios. My router is downstairs and my gaming PC and playstation is upstairs. I'm hoping to use this to extend my Wifi and plug my systems in via ethernet to boost the signal. Will this work for that?

The use of a phone jammer, GPS blocker, or other signal jamming device designed to intentionally block, jam, or interfere with authorized radio communications is a violation of federal law. There are no exemptions for use within a business, classroom, residence, or vehicle.

• A:Answer It is generally best to put a range extender half the distance unless you have an ethernet port in your sewing room. To the best area in your house to place the extender, you can download the app NETGEAR WiFi Analytics to your smartphone. Also, during the router setup, it will list the networks and let you know if the router is too far away from your current wifi. It is a really excellent Range Extender.
