“I have 600M down and i only have two ports on and i want to just use this router to connect all my other wired devices to get better connectivity. So the can I disable the router signal and just use my gateway connection... i need just need the ports”

You certainly could, but a switch is probably a cheaper solution, if you're only looking for wired connections. This would depend on the router you'd be attaching the switch to.
