• A:Answer Yeah, you can. You may wants to turn on AP mode or Bridge mode. It'll be like this: AX8 RAX75 -> Nighthawk AX1800 -> 2nd devices You're better off buying an Extender instead.

Q: QuestionWill this system work with ATT fiber (1000mbs) modem/router Arris BGW210? Is is pretty much plug and play or is there a lot of technical work that needs to be done to get it up and running. Speed is good but signal doesn't cover entire house.

• A:Answer I know this is a bit late, but unfortunately, unless you have a converter, this use the traditional LAN cable, and the fiber connection use the round one. To use it, your main router would need an adapter.

• A:Answer Hello, I think I can answer your question. I am not at all computer savvy, so I had a member of the Best Buy Geek Squad come to my home to install my Nighthawk mesh system, which consisted of 2 units - a main one installed next to my Apple desktop computer and one in another room. I did ask this exact same question you pose to the technician and he affirmed that additional "pods" can be purchased and configured into the existing mesh network. My intention, if I needed to add more extended range to my wifi mesh network, was to hire the Geek Squad to do the installation of any additional "pod" that I purchased. As it turns out, the mesh system that has been installed, appears to be doing a great job of wifi coverage so I most likely will not need any extension. I hope this helps to answer your question?

• A:Answer You dont really need another router just check if you can add an extender daisy chain is another router connected to the one u have which means there both going to be in the same room and a extender can be in a seperate room i have the nighthawk wifi 6 mesh system router and 2 satelites extenders works great each satelite has a 1500 radius i put 1 in the garage thats separate from the house and i have great signal and it works better if u use the same brand product

• A:Answer It should be work just fine.. we have ours is in the the 2nd floor in the living room and the other is in the basement by the garage. We still have full bars of signal on our phones in the driveway. Also running the tv in the garage at the same time.

• A:Answer If you mean do you need a separate connection for both units, you do not. The extender unit gets plugged into a wall outlet for power, but it receives signals directly from the main router unit. Either one phone line or cable connection to the main router unit is all you need. Hope this helps--good luck!

• A:Answer You probably still need to use the router that they provide but you can plug into the back of it and use this router as the Wi-Fi system. Coverage in a 3000 ft² house is good depending on where you have it spaced out.

• A:Answer Unfortunately there is currently no parental control available, but you can manually toggle the internet access off/on for each devices. It's not like the Linksys where you can schedule by day and time. I think via the Netgear Router UI, you can schedule an internet cutoff day/time but it's for all the devices.

• A:Answer This system improved my range to be full signal all through and even outside of my home and doubled my up and download speeds. I had a really got router that was a couple years old. It should help greatly if you current WiFi signal is week and may help improve the speeds as well though it depends on what you are upgrading from but as I said it doubled mine

• A:Answer This is a router so there is no need to have the AX1800 running and your AC1900 wifi running. There is also a possibility that if the wifi is running on your AC1900 it will reduce the effectiveness of the Mesh system. I suggest just putting the AC1900 in bridge mode and using only the Wifi from the NightHawk AX1800.
