- Answer I lose wifi on both my Samsung s23 ultra and z fold 3 phones, while my Samsung TV still shows I'm connected to the network. However, I may have gotten a lemon router, because not even 2 months after owning this router, it has been intermittent. I had to go back to using my Eero router for the time being.

- Answer Yes, I have 1Gps fiber cable. The ONT box converts fiber to ethernet. the ethernet connects to the router. The fiber net provider will install the ONT box and comes free with the install.

QuestionI have satellite internet provided by Rocky Mountain Internet. Not all routers will interface with satellite. Does this router work with satellite? Do I need a modem and router combined or just a router

- Answer We do not have satellite so can’t answer that, but our cable repairman told us the separate modem and router covered more square feet than the combined. Separate has worked better for us.

- Answer I believe it requires an ethernet connection. Wireless is one way only - outbound/WiFi to your various toys.

- Answer Depends on your service provider. Spectrum and AT&T do require a modem with their service but other service providers may not. I used this in place of their model WiFi signal since the signal strength is much greater and handles up to 40 devices compared to the service providers modem capabilities.

QuestionI am moving to a 3500 sq ft townhouse on 3 floors with wood construction. I will be placing this router on the 2nd floor high in a closet (pantry). Can I expect a good strong signal on all three floors. Will be using less than 5 devices at the same time.

- Answer Yes but not recommended. Too many WiFi signals from multiple routes will weekend the signal strength among all routers. You can replace your existing netgear router and most likely your extender with this router since the range and signal strength is incredible. Your new router can be configured with your old routers login credentials and name to ease the transition with your devices to connect to the new router.
