“I do not see either the 2.4 GHZ or the 5.0 GHZ wireless frequency lights blinking at all and I am streaming a movie? I have my PC plugged into Ethernet Port 1 and that doesn't even flash? Is this normal for this router, if so why have the lights?”

Please check the back of your router. Some come equipped with a switch to turn the LED's on or off.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I own the same router, and the lights you are talking about are always on in my router. They blink from time to time; but definitely not blinking continuously. For my network has been working perfectly since I installed it.
