Should work just fine. You will want to connect via Ethernet from your modem to the Orbi base station, and follow the setup instructions to connect the satellites. Remember to disable your modem's built in Wifi and place the modem in "Bridge mode" for best results. You should be able to find simple-to-follow instructions for doing so for your specific modem with a quick web search.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You’ll need to run your modem in “Bridge Mode” this will shut off your router in your modem. Be aware though, if your modem goes off-line, there is no way to remotely reset your Orbi. You’d figure it would come back on line when your modem does but it does not. You manually have to reset the Orbi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should be may need to set modem to bridge mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based solely on my personal experience, don't waste your money with ORBI. I got one less than a month ago and I'm definitely returning it tonight. After wasting days trying to overcome its issues I finally gave up. Its a great promise but nothing more than that. Very unstable (connectivity loss, slowness and eventual freezes).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i only have it connectrd to a modem. i don't know how to configure it gor a modem router combination. you might just need a wifi extender. the orbi replaced my existing router.
