Might work. I tried a similar application and but was not able to connect at a decent speed due to way wiring went through main panel. You can always try and return to store w/in 14 days if does not work the way you want it to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as the wiring system is on the same meter you should be good to go, as I understand it. Works for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I connected to my garage 75 feet away. I say try it. It is a good product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just purchased these units for the very same purpose and they do work and provide a decently strong signal in the detached building. My setup is the same as yours. Had to try several different outlets in the detached building to find one that was reliable and strong enough.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.works in my shop about 50 ft from the house
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Make sure you plug directly into the wall outlet on both ends. The big brother with wireless on one end should work well also.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe this will work based on the information you provided. If it connects to the same panel then it should work just fine. The built in signal strength meter will help you identify the preferred outlets well. Hope that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the power line for your building is connected to the electric panel (fuse box) in your home it will work. You definitely will need the 500. If the building is connected directly to the meter I'm not sure it will work. If you run a cat 6 (more bandwidth than cat 5 but 5 should do the job) wire plugged into a 500 from the house to the building that would be the best. Plug the wire in another 500 wireless or hub and your back in business. If you run the wire underground make sure You use pvc tubing or pipes. Tubing is cheaper and easier. Not sure if this will work for you, you can plug the 500 in your laundry room and run the wire outside through the dryer vent instead of drilling a hole.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if they use the same circuit breaker boxes, which is unlikely...
