A:AnswerYes it should. I have an Apple iPhone so your iPod Touch should work just fine. The PSP should as well as long as it has connectivity with wireless B/G networks which it should. The wireless speed should be enough to play games with others on the PSP. It's excellent on the iOS devices as the speed works great with Safari, Apps, and Mail.
A:AnswerYou'll definitely need a modem whether it's from a store or renting from the company. I would recommend getting one that has both wired and wireless built right in. If you rent then I recommend the Netgear Wireless G router because it's reliable, that's all you'll need. Also check out if you have Clear service available around your area. It offers MUCH more freedom. Good Luck. www.clear.com
A:AnswerThe router would not be responsible for recognizing Skype, but rather the ports it uses. Consult skype if you require to open individual ports - but, it should already be preconfigured. I used Skype all the time with this router.
A:AnswerYes, this router will broadcast a SSID that your iPad will see, and you can name your network whatever you want. Just like being in Starbucks, etc. But, make sure you password protect YOUR SSID.
A:AnswerThe printer itself would have instructions on this. There are many different ways of doing it - the most common of which is for the printer to see the SSID of the router via some some of interface (however that is offered through the wireless printer).

A:AnswerYes, I have mine hooked up with Windows Vista and know those who have used it with Windows 7. No additional action is required. Don't bother loading the software that comes with this device - it's unneeded.
A:AnswerYes, many people (including me at one time) use XBox live with this router - I currently have the original XBox hooked up to it, and I've had the XBox360 hooked up to it. No problems at all.
A:AnswerFrom my experience, this router has about a 75 foot range. This is not per specifications, but personal experience. Anything beyond that and you start to lose signal. This is with walls, floors, ceilings, electronic devices etc, in the way.
