QuestionAnyone else have horrible video display from the rear camera at night? Front camera is crystal clear but the rear camera shows any light as red/orange. Daytime is fine.

- Answer I also noticed a red glow on my rear camera only when braking. Turns out the rear camera is picking-up the red brake light whenever I stop, since it is mounted near that light. Can not notice this in daylight.

- Answer No, it's not wireless and cannot be moved easily from car to car without disassembling the entire setup, but you can pull the front camera off of the mount for easy uploading to your computer or upgrade the software.

- Answer Hello Tony, The 320XR Rear Camera cable is 6 metres long. I'm afraid this cannot be extended for use on a 32ft Motorhome. If you require a front and rear facing Dashcam for your motorhome, then I would recommend using a separate Camera such as the 122 or 222 on the rear windscreen. You will need a separate power supply and SD card as it will not connect to your front Dashcam, but can be used as a Camera facing rearwards. The prices are comparable with the Series 2 Rear Cams, and is the most viable option for use in a longer vehicle. In this instance I would recommend a 322GW for the front and a separate 122 for the rear. If you need any further assistance, please contact our Support Team at [email protected].

QuestionHow do I remove the Nextbase 320XR from it's base without pulling the mounting piece from the windshield? What I want to do is dismount the camera plug it into my laptop and then reinstall it back onto the windshield mount.

- Answer There are two ways to view videos. 1) The front camera is magnetically mounted to its base. It is a strong magnetic connection, but you can pull the camera from its base and it will detach. You can then connect it to your laptop. 2) You can also remove the SD card from the camera and plug that into your laptop.

- Answer Hello, The maximum compatible SD card size for the 320XR is 128GB. We recommend using a Nextbase 32GB, Nextbase 64GB or Nextbase 128GB U3 SD card in a 320XR.

- Answer Hello, The 320XR has an internal lithium ion battery. All of our cameras are tested between -20'C (-4F) to +45'C (113'F), although if the car temperature exceeds this you could potentially experience issues. We'd recommend removing the Dash Cam and placing in the glove compartment when the Dash Cam is not in use to prevent it being unnecessarily heated on the windscreen. When storing the Dash Cam for an extended time period, store within the following temperature range: from 0° to 25°C (from 32° to 77°F). Under the mount is a heat sync, so this is the part of the camera that will get warmest. It's nothing to worry about, they're designed to cope with the heat they produce.

- Answer The Series 2 Cameras have an internal lithium ion battery for emergency uses, such as the loss of power during an incident. This will allow the camera to continue recording to the end of the clip before switching off. This internal battery has around 10-15 minutes of battery life. However with the Rear Camera added, the battery life is reduced due to the additional power draw. If you intend on using Parking Mode on your camera, then we'd instead recommend using a Hard Wire Kit, not the Cigarette Lighter Cable. The Hard Wire Kit will allow the camera to draw nominal current from the car's battery, preventing the cam's battery from being drained. The Hard Wire Kit has an in-built voltage cut off which protects the car's battery from being drained below 11.2V. We'd recommend using a Permanent Live fuse.

- Answer Hello, the front and rear camera footage will be shown in separate files. Picture-in-Picture is only displayed on the camera screen whilst recording, not on playback.

- Answer Yes it does need a memory card. Make sure it is an x3 type card. Netbase makes their own. If you get the bundle get a 64gb or 128gb because 32gb won't work with 2 cameras. I got the San disk elite card for mine.

- Answer I had to reposition mine after it had sealed and used the plastic liner "mover" that came with the cams to winch it off. The box came with a spare one also, probably in case of windshield replacement
