A:AnswerHello Dave,
Thank you for your question! There are several fitting options available for installing the front and rear cameras, including through our authorized partner, BB. For an accurate quote on installation, we recommend reaching out to them directly as pricing can vary depending on location and other factors.
As for the total cost of the unit, it will depend on the add-ons you select, the unit by itself is currently $299.99 but this will change if you decide to add a rear camera, the SD card, a hardwire kit and installation. Let us know if you need further assistance! - The Nextbase Reviews Team
A:AnswerHello John,
Thank you for reaching out. The camera does not come with an SD card included unless you are considering a bundle that specifies an SD card is included.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with. - The Nextbase Reviews Team
A:AnswerThe cabin view mounts to the 622GW side. The rear camera also attaches on the side of the 622GW so the rear and cabin view cannot be used at the same time.
A:AnswerHello, Thank you for your question. The 622GW should work in your car, yes. If you add the Rear Camera, on the screen of the 622GW you will be able to see what both cameras are recording. If you have any further questions, please email us at [email protected]. The Nextbase Review Team
A:AnswerHello,
Thank you for your question.
The app will show you the recorded files with the GPS information. There is not a way to access the Dash Cam or that information remotely. Once you are back in your vehicle, you will be able to connect with the app and check the recorded files that are saved on the SD Card, along with the GPS information for each of them.
Please feel free to contact us if you need any further information: [email protected]

A:AnswerThe camera needs to be connected to your car for this to be automatic. You can manually do this, but uaing the included cable ir attaching via the wirekit will make this work a lot better.
A:AnswerYes it should record properly in a 23 Silverado Truck, can also hide cables by removing Trim, recommend a youtube video instead of paying for installation

A:AnswerHi Zach, you can theoretically mount the dash camera wherever you would like. Without knowing what state, you live in and the local laws there, if you have laws against dash cameras on the windshield in general, I am not sure the location of the dash camera will make a difference should you get pulled over and asked about it. It might be worthwhile to ask your local law enforcement if the camera behind the rear view will be considered against the law.
A:AnswerHello Carl,
The Nextbase 622GW cannot be connected to any Garmin device or app. The 622GW connects via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to the MyNextbase Connect mobile app on your phone.
If you have any further questions, please let us know at [email protected].
A:AnswerHello,
The power cables available for the 622GW are the cigarette lighter cable or the hard wire kit. We would not recommended using a third party OBD cable to power the device as this would void the warranty.
A:Answerthis was happening on my dash cam also; it might be the parking mode. this dash cam has failed me repeatedly it doesn't come on when I start my truck, it locks up, it doesn't turn off. this dashcam along with my Phillips Hue stream box is two of my worst purchases so far.
