QuestionHow long is the video stored? Like do I need to empty the SD card every month kinda of a deal?

- Answer The Nextbase Dash Cams record in continuous loops, so the oldest footage will get over written by the newest footage. How much footage is recorded depends on the size of your SD card. The larger the SD card= the more footage stored. We recommend re-formatting the SD card every 2-3 weeks to prolong the life of the SD card and this can be easily done via the Dash Cam itself.

- Answer So far so good with my rear cam. Only thing it picks up a reflection of my rear hatch cover. Quality recording it better than other brands.

- Answer The only time the Bluetooth or WiFi is on is when you remove the unit and transfer the files to your mobile device. This dash cam is very easy to use

- Answer Not a true backup camera but there Are two options; 1) purchase a Nextbase rear view camera and mount it to the rear window and run the cable through the cabin and connect to you 522GW; or 2) purchase Nextbase Telephoto rear view camera which plugs directly into your 522GW and shoots through the cabin out the rear window. I purchased option 2 and it works for me because I already have a vehicle installed backup camera.

- Answer Yes, there is a rear-facing cabin view camera (directly plugs into the main unit) to record car's interior cabin. If your car/SUV is not super wide, the rear facing camera can also capture a little bit of the side window view. There is also a telephoto rear-facing lens that records more directly straight back through rear window.
