It does not require Cat 5 (Ethernet) cables to connect the cameras to the DVR. If you already have BNC cabling in place, you can easily upgrade to this system without needing to replace your wiring.     • Answer Thank you for the question and details about your current cameras. Unfortunately we don't have the ability to confirm compatibility of cameras that we didn't manufacture. Since we don't know what internal components were used we have no way to guarantee they will work with our systems. We apologize for this inconvenience. You might consider checking the return policy with the retailer and if possible can buy and test knowing you can return if not (assuming they allow that).
