A:AnswerI recently purchased lens. I was disappointed lens did not come with case, back cap nor hood. Sorry I can't give you reason for items not added. I asked salesperson why it did not at least come with case and back cap. I was told more lens are being sold without what he referred to is added accessories. I feel it should be automatic for the lens protection. I asked him to add case and back cap to my order. I was told I'd have to order case and back cap directly through Nikon. He suggested purchasing bubblewrap to store lens in camera case. Needless to say, I am not happy.
