“Can you zoom while your are recording a movie? Are you able to zoom in and out while recording a video? Also if it does zoom, then does it zoom slowly so the object never blurs or can it zoom quickly by blurring the object then refocusing once the zoom is complete?”

Rotate the zoom control during recording to enable digital zoom. The optical zoom cannot be adjusted once recording begins. You can select how the camera focuses in movie mode.
