“Picture Colour Editing Using the D3100, is it possible to take a picture in monochrome but highlight and colour one particular part of the image? For example, taking a picture of an apple tree in monochrome but highlighting one particular apple in green?”

• I'm pretty sure that it not an option. I'd refer to Photoshop to do that. Sorry.

• This type of effect is typically done by software on your computer, not in the camera. I am not aware of any cameras that can do this in-camera.
