- Answer Hi there! Thanks for your interest. The only Nokia device that is currently compatible with Verizon is the Nokia 2 V, a prepaid smartphone that is exclusively available through them. All other Nokia devices are not compatible with the carrier.

- Answer As far as I am concerned,most of these phones/Nokia 9PureView phones are unlocked as is. My model is a TA-1082 and I bought it unlocked. Now if you buy the phone where it says to activate today, you will essentially be buying a Plan from AT&T to get that discount or special pricing for the phone. However, I do not think it is worth the savings, as I use Mint Mobile as my service provider and it works great.

- Answer It is a gimmick to the sales process that seems cannot be avoided. I had to pay $50.00 activated or not, yet the phone was boldly advertised as $449.00; I already had service, so "activation" is swapping the SIM. Stupid gimmick on Best Buy's part.
