QuestionIs this the 2017 or 2015 model? What is the difference between the two? Is the 16gb model faster due to flash memory storage vs old school hard drive on Pro? Can i hook up an external hard drive to the 16gb model and function the same as Pro?

- Answer This is the latest model 2017 and it has the same CPU speed as the recent model, however the Pro has 500 GB of internal storage on the ready. The older model I believe only has 16 GB and no flash memory will not make it any faster. The thing I like about the Pro is that I don't have to stick any USB external storage in order to purchase my game library. It runs smooth with no issues. You can hook up any external storage drive to your 16 GB model, but it won't be any faster.

QuestionIn light of recent spying and hacking allegations, is there a way to permanently disable the voice recognition software or are there plans to provide an update that will allow that option?

- Answer The voice recognition is only active when you press the mic button on the remote. If you don't use it then it doesn't listen.

Questioni have a few questions .... on the usb part does it support all usb's or only 3.0 and higher ? if you have movies on a usb flash drive can you plug it in an watch them through the box and if so what all video formats will it support ?

- Answer This unit is compatible with USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and you can play movie files from flash drive. The video file format supported are Xvid/ DivX/ASF/AVI/MKV/MOV/M2TS/MPEG-TS/MP4/WEB-M.

- Answer I saw them in store last Tuesday at Pittsburgh Mills store 1164 a few days before the one I preordered arrived. The new controller is amazing so light and natural feeling.
