A:AnswerIf the receiver has wireless capabilities and is connected to the wireless internet connection and the speakers are connected to the same wireless connection as the receiver it should definitely work. Good Luck
A:AnswerYou can’t with this model you have to get the higher end model then you should be able to turn it off n on with a tv remote or cable remote. Sr 373 onkyo is the lowest model of onkyo receivers n does not have much options to it. So look into a 676 or higher model from onkyo n you should have better luck on what you can do with the receiver n it’s options. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerOnce your cable box is connected to your new receiver, as well as your other components the volume for all tour units should be controlled mainly by the receiver remote. However the TV remote can still control the volume of the TV. Should work for you. Good Luck.
A:AnswerAt this price point, no is the short answer. You could probably find more info. about Onkyo receivers and their features at http://www.us.onkyo.com/
A:AnswerMake sure that your PS4 is plugged into the Game HDMI port on the Receiver and the TV is Plugged into the Output HDMI port
I have the same setup and it works like a charm When Set to Game on the display- I did connect an Optical Fiber connector also - But that was for feedback from the TV
if still having problems:
Try another HDMI cord - Then If still no go - another TV - then take Receiver back to Best Buy For Warranty
A:AnswerThere is only one input on your subwoofer and that is where you will connect it to the receiver using a digital audio cable, basically a coax cable with RCA connections on each end. There are actually two subwoofer outputs on the receiver. Use the top one, but either one should work.
A:AnswerI don't know with certainty regarding your specific set up but most receivers and amplifiers have self protection that will shut down a component that is over heating. If your receiver has adequate ventilation you may have a defective transformer. Excessive heat is difficult to define but you can usually tell when a component shuts down if it's temperature is high. If it "seems" hot, it probably is.
A:AnswerIt cannot be connected like you asked. Each of those devices have Bluetooth receivers, not transmitters. You would have to connect to the sound bar from the Onkyo with a cable of some kind. Most likely an analog audio cable
A:AnswerThere is no tape monitor circuit like in the old days, so no way good way to do this to affect all inputs. There is an equalizer built into you receiver however. The set up mic and routine is how it is adjusted.
