Question7 speaker system. 2 front 2 hight 2 rear 1 center. How do I get them set to all work as a surround/Atmos system. I can't get the rear to work unless I'm on all channel.

- Answer Look at the Input Formats and Selectable Listening Modes table in your manual. You can check your input source by pressing the "I" button on your remote. If you are listening to a music CD, the input format is PCM. Press the Movie/TV, Music, or Game buttons to select another mode other than Stereo, which only uses the front speakers.

- Answer If you can sacrifice one of the RCA inputs labeled CD, STRM BOX, CBL/SAT, BD/DVD s/b good for playback. But if you're looking to record you should look for a receiver with a tape monitor loop capability. You may want to investigate separate Pre-amp, Amp for that flexibility and functionality.

QuestionI just got this reciever installed yesterday. I'm using klipsch 5.0 ht50 speakers, klipsch reference series 10" 150w powered sub and sonance mag series 6 1/2 2 way in ceiling speakers for zone 2. Why do i have to turn volume to 47 just to hear normal.

- Answer I DONT KNOW WHY BUT MINE IS THE SAME WAY. MINE REPLACED AN OLDER ONKYO AV AND IT WAS SIMILAR. IF THIS IS AS GOOD AS THE OLD ONE IT SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM. I'M RUNNING BOSTON ACOUSTIC SPEAKERS AND AS ON THE OLD ONE IT SOUNDS GREAT. HAD NO POWER PROBLEMS ON THE OLD ONE BUT LIVE IN AN APARTMENT NOW SO I CAN'T CRANK IT.

QuestionI have a Klipsch Reference Cinema Speaker system 5.1.4. I'm looking to upgrade my receiver. Will this Onkyo do the job? Each of the four satellite speakers have a top firing speaker. I'm not finding much information on how to wire 5.1.4. speakers.

Questionwhen watching wifi fed firestick programs through my older samsung tv I get no dolby or any surround sound. I only use the amplifier for the external speakers. Dolby or best type surround is selected in the fire stick settings.

- Answer HDMI cable from the Roku to any of the HDMI in ports on the Onkyo. HDMI cable from the Onkyo monitor out port to your TV. You can rename the port you attached the Roku to by going into the Onkyo setup menu and editing the name. My Roku is plugged into the game port, I renamed that to Roku. When I select Game on the remote the Onkyo front panel displays "Roku".

- Answer There is an extensive manual available on the Onkyo web site. Just google the model number. I just opened the box and set it up yesterday. There's not much this thing can't do.

- Answer I don't know the answer to it but way I got my setup is for Dolby Atmos Klipsch 5.1.2 theater set up even true 4K video settings when playing in PS5 automatics so 10 h d r you can hook everything up through HDMI make it more reasonable and watching 4K movies amazing sounds amazing could ask for a better receiver
