Some would say the new one. A lot of BB employees will tell you that this protector is on recall. I had to investigate it for myself. To be honest the screen is the same as the one I purchased a week after buying my phone. Either way my phone is protected, the screen does fit smoothly and snug on my phone, and I wouldn't trade it for another. Esp. After cracking the protector and my screen was untouched. For better protection , I recommend buying the otterbox case because the screen is designed for it.

Please try again later.I got mine the later part of April easy to put on but one month later dropped it and the shield just shattered and came off a waste of money if you ask me when I first got it thought that it would stand up to otterbox old version but it comes no where close to it. I can say that the phone glass did not break glad of that but what good is it if you have to continue to buy the shield each time you drop it. wish they would have the glass protection for the s9 like they had for the s5 because this one comes nowhere close to it
