A:Answer CPRM is nearly obsolete, so I don't know of any BlueRay or 4K players that support CPRM. You can still purchase a unit like Sony DVD player with HD up-conversion (720p), Model: DVPSR510H, from Best Buy for $44.99. But I understand the it is more desirable to have just 1 player that plays all formats.
Soooooo, I downloaded and 'key-word' searched the Operating Instructions pdf for the Panasonic and I did not find any specific references to "Content Protected Playable Media" or "CPRM". However, the unit does support Microsoft Playready (MS/Playready).
From Page 36 of the manual: "This device uses PlayReady technology to access PlayReady-protected content and/or WMDRM-protected content."
From the cryptic license description, it seems that the unit must be connected to the internet in order for some licenses to work. The details are light but it appears that all components in the display chain must comply with the license requirements... so if your player is plugged into an amplifier that switches video to your tv, then both the amplifier and TV must support licensing. I believe all of this licensing is to prevent "Video Scraping" and outright copying of the media.
I am sorry this is not a yes or no answer, but you never know. In the manual it says that it does not support "Super Video DVD", but it DOES play my SUPERBIT DVD of "The Fifth Element" just fine.
For the price, you could buy it, and if it does not play the content you want, return it.
