• A:Answer The manual says both the base unit and handsets have a silent mode. I haven't tried it but the manual notes that you can set the silent mode for a period of time rather than just on/off. If you have Caller ID you can have numbers you select bypass the silent mode.

Q: QuestionWould I be able to pair this phone with a Bluetooth stand-alone SPEAKER. Not a headset; a speaker. The person I'm buying this for is hard of hearing, often uses the speakerphone function and needs to be able to use a standalone speaker for extra volume.
