  • Questionwhat does 60x zoom equal to in a zoom lens? 180mm, 210mmor300mm? What is it comprable to?

    Asked by Tomp.

    • Answer This camera has a remarkable telephoto. I think the specs on the plastic lens says 1200mm but I am not sure. My own skills dictate that might be a little bit much. I would not want to try extending it that far. Stay within whatever safe zone works for you. The trick here is the higher the zoom, you have to be careful of the depth of field. That means your Fstop has to stay high. On the older Nikons it was F22 or F16 len settings. That also affects your exposure and I think the max on that lenses is F5. plus. So if you are using the telephoto past about 150 mm the focus might get a little bit tricky.

  • QuestionHow does this camera work in low light without a flash?

    Asked by laurareeling.

    • Answer Hello! Thank you for reaching out. The camera features a 60x optical zoom with a 1/2.3-inch High Sensitivity MOS sensor. If you want to shoot in low light without flash and have good results, you can use the Night Scenery/Night Portrait scenes. We also advise that you use a tripod, which is essential for long exposures or slow shutter speeds. Additionally, if you decide to shoot RAW, this allows for better post-processing of dark images. To improve low-light results, ensure that you set the ISO to 400-800, since the camera has a smaller sensor and this will be a good balance point to give a brightness boost, and keep the noise at a good level. Hope this helps! -C

  • QuestionHow long can this record video in one shot? I need something capable of recording video for longer than an hour at a time

    Asked by Video.

    • Answer Hello! The recording time of the camera depends on the recording format, recording quality and the SD card you use. If you record using a 128GB memory card and in FHD/28M/60p you can record for 10 hours. If you use a 128GB card with the recording quality set to 4K/100M/30p you can record for 2 hours and 45 minutes. These would be the highest settings and the largest SD cards. If you lower the recording quality the recording time will increase. Hope this helps! - S

  • QuestionIs this a rechargeable camera and if so how long does the charge hold?

    Asked by Bill.

    • Answer Hello Bill! The camera comes with a rechargeable battery. The operating time may vary depending on the settings you use and the quality of the recorded images. The available recording time when filming in AVCHD and MP4 Full HD is approximately 90 minutes, and for MP4 4K recording it is approximately 80 minutes. When using the monitor, you can take approximately 300 still pictures with one charge and about 220 pictures when using the viewfinder. Please note that the operating time may be shortened if the flash and the zoom are used repeatedly. We hope this information will be useful! - S
