• Comes with an ink cartridge but with limited use. Replacements are very reasonable, I bought 3 extras.

• Yes, but only a sample size. It only made about a dozen copies. You can get ink, but it is difficult to find as the machine is obsolete. We were not informed of this when we purchased it.
