• yes panasonic has done a very good job with bright room and the new vt30 / gt30 are the best plasmas for bright rooms and for owning one it is the best 3d tv out there by far

• This TV will do just fine in a bright room. It is just not recommended in direct sunlight for which in that case, any type of TV would have glare issues.
