This was my question. After getting the extremely unhelpful answer to take it to the Geek Squad - I finally managed to get it straightened out myself with the help of a friend. Everything was being sent to One Drive instead of saving on computer. We simply made a new documents folder under D:\ and then used Properties to re-direct everything there, and shut off the One Drive.
