If you manage to fit the lights flush to the ceiling (as they are intended to) then yes - the light is sealed and the fixture will not have any gaps in the fit to let air in/out.

That being said, I suppose if when installed they cover the opening completely I don't see why you couldn't put some foam tape off some sort to seal. These don't get near as hot. When I removed my old can inserts they had foam around the loop to seal it
